The contemporary proliferation of objects like furniture appears to me as absurd and sometimes when I am angry I feel that all production of furniture should be abolished, everywhere. Sometimes I also come to my senses and think that a little reconditioning of an object or two would not hurt. It is with this monologue in my head that I collect and re-work objects that I find in my surroundings. As much as this is an attempt to refrain from the aesthetic often falsely labeled as minimalist, it is also an excuse to engage in banal plays of composition and joining. Do you have any spare pieces of wood to lend me maybe?
